It was beautiful summer weather throughout the Moments of Change 2014 conference in West Palm Beach Florida. 90 degrees and sunny – well, except for the morning it mattered.
We want to thank everyone who came out to the conference this week.
It was an amazing experience and we met some of the most interesting and forward-thinking people in the addiction treatment industry.
We Had a Great Workshop
Our CEO, Mike Myles, spoke alongside William McCormick, CEO of Medivance Billing Service, on growing your addiction treatment business. The workshop, called “The Essentials of Revenue Growth: Internet Marketing and Revenue Cycle Management”, had a great crowd in attendance and proceeded very smoothly.
Mike presented a shortened version of “Internet Marketing Optimization” for his side of the workshop, showing the importance of online marketing in the addiction treatment industry. He also went over the techniques involved in growing your brand online, tailored specifically to the addiction treatment industry.
Both Mike and William presented excellent, educational pieces, and they were a great team onstage!

We’d like to thank Medivance Billing Service for inviting us to be a part of the workshop. They have been a great partner in our quest to provide expert optimization to the addiction treatment industry.
We Met Some Awesome People!
There were a lot of people at the conference, and we wish we could have met everyone there. We based camp at Booth 1204, right in the midst of the action.
Desmond White, our head of Business Development, manned the booth and developed a great rapport with visitors. He stood out from the crowd with his distinct red bow tie, which is quickly become a trademark of Active Internet Marketing.
It was great talking with the professionals and leaders in addiction treatment. We made some great connections, and we hope that those will develop into long-lasting partnerships.
We Had Some Fun Too!
The sunny days of West Palm Beach are in stark contrast to the currently dreary fall weather in our hometown of Traverse City, MI. That being said, it was impossible not to enjoy the outdoor heat while the team was in Florida.
The free time we had away from the conference was spent lounging at the pool, sucking up as much Vitamin D as possible before returning to the great north.
The golf tournament, which kicked off the conference at 8am on Sunday, was the only rainy day. Desmond still had a great time golfing – we’ll believe him.
